Update May 2019! We’re pleased to confirm our special screening of ‘Tomorrow’! Unfortunately cancelled back in March due to unseasonable weather, we’re pleased to announce it will instead be held indoors at the Scarborough Community Hub on June 15 (173 Gildercliffe St – Main Hall).
Tomorrow is a thought provoking and positive documentary about people and communities coming together to work out ways to live with each other and the planet more harmoniously – a salient message of the importance of looking after each other and the planet and a message that aligns perfectly with all The Bend is working to achieve.
Thanks to all for a great first round of movies! An estimated 150 locals enjoyed our three movies, and the venue was just about perfect. Our special thanks and acknowledgment to City of Stirling for their funding support.
We look forward to seeing you for Movies @ The Bend again next summer!

We’re proud to present the Movies @ The Bend series of evening movies every fortnight throughout February and March 2019.
Bring your picnic blanket and join with family and friends to enjoy some great movies under the stars at Scarborough Community Hub amphitheatre (173 Gildercliff St Scarborough).
Please note:
- No food vendors arranged at this stage – BYO tucker!
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- ‘Leave no trace’ – please clean up your mess before you go.
- Limited space – we estimate max 100 people, so get in early!
